What's involved in this role?
As a Finance Executive, your goal is to support the
Business Services financial and procurement function by covering a wide range
of finance and administration tasks.
You will undertake an administrative responsibility
for the following tasks:
- Create, process,and issue a range of
financial ledger documents such as Purchase Orders, Invoices and Credit
Notes.
- Play a key role in the procurement
function.
- Monitor payment terms, liaising with suppliers, to ensure timely
payment of invoices.
- Work closely with other financial
functions to ensure all relevant systems are up to date and all processes
and procedures are as robust and streamlined as possible.
- Reconciliation and reporting:
Assist in the reconciliation of Bank Statements, maintain financial
spreadsheets, reconciliation's and reports as directed.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly
payroll.
- Administration support for the Finance
team and to maintain the accounting function including data collection,
entry and analysis as required.
- Ensure all financial information is up to
date within the accounting system and available for reporting purposes
across a range of systems.
- Understand and respect the confidential
nature of the systems you are working within, ensuring sensitive
information remains strictly confidential.
Requirements
You will have a foundational understanding of finance and procurement on which you would like to build knowledge and industry experience. You are able to demonstrate the ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail and can continually re-prioritise to ensure internal SLAs are met.To meet the requirements of this role, you will have:
- Proven experience within Finance, 1-3 years.
- Experience in Procurement, 1-3 years
- Good IT skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
in data input.
- Excellent communicator, both written and
verbal.
- Strong organisational skills; able to
manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
- A flexible approach.
- Ability to deliver against deadlines and
within internal SLAs.
