Areas of responsibility within Forfusion
As the Head of Engineering, my primary responsibility is to ensure that best-in-class engineers and consultants stay at the forefront of their respective IT specialities. Additionally, I lead pre-sale activities to ensure that, from inception to handover to support, our professional service engagements meet the precise needs of our customers.
Industry experience
Since transitioning from the Army to Forfusion as a project manager, I have successfully led projects in the security, LAN, WAN, and WLAN sectors. Notably, I oversaw a large-scale deployment of network infrastructure for a high-profile client's newest retail site in New York. My experience extends across retail, NHS, and defence sectors, contributing to projects from RFP submissions through to project completion.
Background
I completed a 24-year career in the Army, retiring as an Officer in 2022. Although I’m not from a technical background, I have consistently led technical teams in construction and IT environments, focusing on creating conditions for them to thrive and deliver effective results.

Other interests
In my spare time, I prioritise my family; as a father of four, they take up most of my time, and I wouldn't have it any other way! Spending time outdoors is vital for my physical and emotional health, and I strive to spend at least 30 minutes a day at the beach.
