My responsibilities as Head of Service Operations include leading the strategic deployment of the Service Operations within Forfusion, by providing leadership to the Service Operations team and contributing to the successful delivery of world-class, innovative IT solutions to our customers.

Since leaving the Royal Air Force, I have supported Enterprise Networks spanning the continent as a Network Engineer. In addition, I have helped maintain the integrity of production environments as a Change Manager. As a Service Delivery Manager, I organised monthly and quarterly service reviews with internal and external stakeholders and developed relationships to encourage feedback to continuously improve the service. I am now in the fortunate position to also deliver Managed Services with a focus on customer success and helping to remove adoption barriers for new solutions.
Background
I began my journey in this industry upon joining the Royal Air Force and completing an apprenticeship in Communication Technologies. This motivated me to continue developing on this path following a 12-year career and helped me fully understand the value apprenticeships can offer a business. I have enjoyed the diverse roles offered to me, from supporting satellite communications and maintaining large Enterprise Networks as an Engineer, to helping drive service delivery and standards as a Service Desk Manager.

Although it is up for debate as to whether Mr Franklin said this, we shouldn’t let that detract from the truth behind these words. I am a firm believer that getting stuck in, even at the deep end, is worth far more than reading from any book.
Other interests
My spare time mainly revolves around my family; as a father to two strong-minded young girls, I have my hands full, to say the least. Whilst I value the advantages technology offers our children, I like to ensure that my wife and I nurture their love of the great outdoors, regardless of the weather. Our weekends are usually spent exploring the countryside and hoping that each walk ends with a pub.
